Designed by Master Blacksmith Alan Dawson and produced in a day by a gathering of master blacksmiths from Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, France and even one master blacksmith from Japan.
Size: 2 metres high and 1 metre in diameter
Title: The Blacksmiths Ball Medium: forged steel
Location: The Courthouse Square, Letterkenny

Description: A lattice sphere of forged steel, which includes a thistle, a harp and a horseshoe amongst other icons. Three forged steel spikes hold the sphere.
